- Air Filter Vent (White color): 1.9 Micron, with 3M adhesive backing, 1.8 cm X 1 cm.
- Self-Healing Silicone Injection Port (Black color): with 3M adhesive backing, 1.8 cm.

Air Filter Vent: This vent provides optimal gas exchange in culture containers while blocking contaminants thanks to its 0.22-micron filter. It is designed to be durable and is commonly used in grain jars and liquid cultures.
Autoclavable, Hydrophobic & Oleophobic, microwavable and high temp-resistant.
Self-healing Injection Port: This silicone injection port facilitates multiple injections and self-heals, ensuring durability and ease of use. It withstands repeated sterilization and shows no deterioration even after being sprayed with alcohol before inoculation. Its simplicity and sleek design surpass homemade alternatives.
These injection ports are also suitable for Uncle Ben’s tek.
3M Adhesive: The strength of the 3M adhesive allows these components to endure autoclave temperatures exceeding 121 Celsius at 15psi for prolonged periods. For optimal results, cover the jar with aluminium foil during sterilization to prevent moisture from compromising the adhesive.

Additional Tips:
- Drill Size: The port has an overall diameter of 2 cm, ideal for a 1cm (10mm) hole. Use a Drill Bit to create the perfect injection hole on the lid.
- Surface Preparation: Clean the lid surface with an alcohol swab and let it dry completely for the adhesive to stick effectively.
- Applicable Surfaces: Suitable for clean, hard surfaces such as standard metal and plastic jar lids. Avoid using on soft surfaces like mushroom grow bags. Plastic lids are recommended over metal lids to avoid corrosion.
Ball Brand Lids Caution: Avoid using Ball brand black plastic lids as their recessed lettering creates an uneven surface that may affect adhesive performance.
