How to Use the Product:
In mycology, this tape is primarily used to secure and sterilise bags of Grain Spawn or Substrate and Mason Jar Lids containing liquid culture mix. Place your items in the autoclave with the tape applied. The tape is designed to withstand steam or moisture without compromising its integrity.
Proper Sterilisation Technique:
To effectively sterilise, allow the Steriliser to achieve 15psi. Open the valve to release pressure until it reaches zero, removing any air pockets within the autoclave. Set a timer for the required duration of sterilisation.
Maintain a constant temperature of 121 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes during which the tape will transition from yellow to black stripes, indicating successful sterilisation.
