Parafilm is commonly utilised in hospitals and laboratories to cover or seal vessels like flasks, test tubes, beakers, Petri dishes, etc. It is also used for grafting plants.
This film is semi-transparent and made from waxes and polyolefins. It is non-toxic to handle, making it ideal for making Agar Plates and Transferring Spores to Agar
1 M (100 cm): Seals 15 Petri dishes (4 inches)
2 M (200 cm): Seals 30 Petri dishes (4 inches)
5 M (500 cm): Seals 75 Petri dishes (4 inches)
10 M (1000 cm): Seals 150 Petri dishes (4 inches)
38 M PM996 (3800 cm): Seals 570 Petri dishes (4 inches)
76 M PM992 (7600 cm): Seals 570 Petri dishes (2 inches)
Not safe to use in an autoclave.
