This mini pop up greenhouse tent creates its own microclimate, holding humidity around your grow while letting light through the clear PVC cover, perfect for fruiting oyster, lions mane and other gourmet mushroom varieties, as well as seedlings, cuttings and tropical plants.
Roomy enough to fit 4 to 5 Rootlab 3kg spray and grow kits at once, so you can run multiple blocks fruiting together in the one tent.
The spring steel frame pops up in seconds and folds flat for storage, no tools or assembly needed. Zip access panels on the front let you mist, check on your grow and harvest without breaking the tent down.
Keeping humidity up for mushrooms
Mist the inside walls of the tent daily to keep humidity high around your fruiting blocks. You can also keep a small container of water or a small humidifier inside the tent for a more consistent humidity source between mistings.
Airflow matters too
Leave the zip window cracked open slightly rather than fully sealed. Fresh air exchange is just as important as humidity during fruiting, a fully sealed tent will let CO2 build up and cause stress, leggy stems and poor cap formation. A small gap at the top or side keeps air moving while the tent still holds humidity well above room level.
Keep out of direct sun
Mushrooms do not grow well in direct sunlight. If using the tent outdoors, keep it in a shaded spot out of the sun, direct sun will heat the tent and cause the mushrooms to shrivel and dry out.
