How To Use Indole-3-Acetic Acid (IAA) Powder

Follow the given steps to prepare 1L tissue culture media using PCTโ€™s IAA Powder:

  1. Prepare liquid tissue culture media using PCTโ€™s MS, DKW, or any other alternative media.
  2. Add sugar based on the quantity of media youโ€™re making (generally, 30 grams of sugar is added for 1-liter media), 1 ml/L PPM, and 3-4 grams per liter of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per liter of agar.
  3. Then, add the desired quantity of the plant hormone from the prepared PGRโ€™s stock solution.
  4. Autoclave the medium for 20 minutes at 15 psi and 121โ„ƒ.
