Instructions for Using Indole-3-Butyric Acid (IBA) Powder
Follow these steps to incorporate PCTโs IBA powder into your tissue culture media preparation:
- Prepare the liquid tissue culture medium using PCTโs MS, DKW, or other suitable media, depending on your plant’s requirements.
- Add sugar proportional to the volume of media being prepared (typically, 30 grams of sugar per liter), 1 ml/L PPMโข, and 3-4 grams per liter of gellan gum or 6-8 grams per liter of agar.
- Incorporate the desired amount of IBA from the pre-made IBA stock solution.
- Sterilize the medium by autoclaving it for 20 minutes at 121โ and 15 psi.
